It’s absolutely my preferred method of writing out posts too! I also do exactly that about writing posts first and then copying over or I get far too distracted with any SEO plugins lol.

I ALWAYS map out my headings first before writing. Something else that helps keep me focused is writing on a Word dument and then copy-pasting on my blog. This way, I don’t get distracted by graphics or the other myriad of things involved in creating a blog post.

It seems to work for me. I’ve tried the recording myself talking and that just doesn’t work quite so well for me. I swear by using a blog post outline for structuring your articles. I never used them in high school or college, but I use an outline for every post to structure it for SEO and so that I cover all my points!
